Well, one week until the clock strikes 2011. A fresh, clean year. Like a pristine piece of super white paper not yet written on. It makes me HAPPY!

A few years back, I started choosing a word, instead of a list of resolutions, to guide the new year. One inspiring word to lead, instead of a list of “shoulds”.

What word would inspire you?

1. Start by listening to your thoughts this week. What would put this year on the map? What keeps coming to you with excited energy? Yes, with a bit of fear too… you’ve never done it before.

2. Why do you want to do it? Your truth will always feel sure inside. Get quiet and clear.

3. Now, make a declaration. “I intend to ______.” Write it out. What will you do and why?

4. What single word will represent these ideas? A word to guide your choices and actions.

5. Lastly, speak it out loud, all of it. I swear it resonates at a different frequency. Our entire self becomes informed and aware… and ready for the adventure! The universe unites.

How will it happen? Who knows! It will unfold as we trust the YES feelings, one day at a time.

Me?… “I intend to get in front of the video camera and be seen this year.” Why? I want share more of myself, I want to feel more connected. Yes, it’s definitely scary, but I know it’s my next step. My word? VISIBLE.
